Spot-On: At Your Service
If you follow my Spot-On column then you know how passionate I am on the subject of cooking for yourself, family, loved ones, and friends. You may have gathered that I consider cooking fundamental to not only family life, but even civilization. Columns such as “Love’s Labor” or “Teach Your Children Well” speak to that belief. So it may seem at least somewhat dissonant that I work as a personal chef — in some way the opposite of what I preach.

That’s a lot to consider. But I have to laugh at this: “The oldest of these services, personal chefs..”Perhaps that is the oldest service- for men. *laughs*

I guess my arrangement is a bit different, wherein the weight-watching client tells me everything he doesn’t like, then I make a bunch of meals–unfrozen–and drop some of them at his office, others at his house.I really like not haggling over menus.
Ed,The nice thing about personal cheffing is that the arrangement is highly negotiable.
