Oh, hell, Kevin.Bechamel and all?I might as well throw in the dishtowel.EXCEPT! I gots lots of outrageous flavors going on. And a little sploosh of cream will always make up for when you didn’t coax any Bechamel into being. (I didn’t.)Jan. 5. Bring it on.

  • Kevin:

CC,No outrageous flavors here, I’m keeping it simple.

  • DM:

    Bring it on….

  • Kate:

I am revving up the stove and flexing my stirring arm as we speak.Watch closely…..

  • Lannae:

Seriously Good, I am so ready for a little homemade Mac and Cheese! 1st time for me, to not coax an orange glob of cheez-food onto boxed macaroni! I am inspired and ready!

  • Kevin:

  • Kristen:

It’s totally a homemade mac and cheese kind of day. I have it planned for later in the week. Might have to deviate and make it sooner rather than later!

This sounds good to me. I printed out a recipe for what sounds like a killer mac and cheese a while back—this must be the excuse to make it that I’ve been looking for!

  • Sandi @ the WhistleStop Cafe:

We know something about Mac & Cheese…it is a southern staple. I don’t do the fancy Bechamel and all~ just good home cookin!

  • Kevin:

Sandi,You realize the garvy on biscuits and gravy is bechamel, don’t you?

Kevin,I’ve been wanting to share a little more with the rest of the bloggers out there, so I took you up on the mac-n-cheese-off and managed to post a little something about it…..californio mac-n-cheese.http://www.sourdoughmonkeywrangler.blogspot.comas the post explains, it ain’t a normal recipe.

  • Josie:

What timing, sir! Mac-n-Cheese was on the menu for last night even before I saw your post…this made making it for the party even more fun–so Thank You!

  • sher:

Hi Kevin, well my post is up, but I don’t know if it will make it to Technorati. It was nice to have an excuse to make some Mac-n-cheese!

  • stephen:

I know, I know…this recipe is so LAST YEAR…but, in my defense, it not only has bechemel but also BACON…so I thought maybe you’d let me slip in with an old post: <>< HREF="http://www.stephencooks.com/2006/02/herby_macaroni__1.html" REL="nofollow">Herby Macaroni and Three Cheeses<><>cheesy, I know…
